Last night Breandan hosted a 'christening' for his new DVD player. We watched Happy Gilmore and Anchorman, ate pizza and drank. Quite fun, though that will be it my socialising until the superbowl party next Sunday - too many late nights and not enough work getting done.

Woke up around midday, read a bit more of the Tom Gunning Fritz Lang book, from which I'm picking up a lot of ideas, then went out for a look round the last of the sales. Got a couple of pairs of jeans, which worked out at £60 compared to their original total price of £145, and the cheapest diary I could find, into which I have now entered my upcoming appointments.

At this time of year, if you paid more than a couple of quid, you was robbed. :)

99p - it has a garish cover; paying £2 for the one with the plain black faux leather look cover was £1.01 too much.
